Companionship Sitter

Job Summary:
The companionship role at Select Care Generations is a full-time hourly position that offers the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our clients in Macon, Georgia. As a companion, you will be responsible for providing emotional support, companionship, and assisting with daily activities for elderly or disabled individuals. This is an individual contributor role that requires attention to detail and a compassionate demeanor.

Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive hourly wage of $10 to $12 per hour, with a biweekly pay schedule. 

Responsibilities:
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation.
• Engage in meaningful conversations and activities to improve the quality of life for clients.
• Monitor and report any changes in client's condition or behavior to a supervisor.
• Maintain accurate records of daily tasks and activities.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Prior experience in a caregiving or companionship role is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and practices.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening.
