Noah's Ark Veterinary Resort is a privately owned small animal veterinary hospital in Millersville, MD. We are collaborative, supportive, and professional. We are seeking a compassionate Veterinarian to join the team at our positivity-focused clinic. You will primarily diagnose and treat dogs and cats; however, we also provide care for smaller animals at the doctor's discretion/comfort. Schedule:
  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday (some Saturdays may be required)

Pay types:
  • Salary
  • Base Salary + Commission pay

Responsibilities
  • Provide routine examinations
  • Diagnose illnesses and recommend treatment
  • Perform surgeries including dental, ophthalmic, and orthopedic
  • Administer vaccinations
  • Perform spay and neuter surgeries
  • Prescribe medication
  • Advise pet owners on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and overall pet well-being
  • Update client records

Qualifications
  • Previous work experience as a veterinarian
  • Knowledge of medical equipment and anesthesia procedures (preferred)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical concepts in simple terms
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Patience and a love for animals (and people too!)

Education:
  • Doctorate (Required)

License/Certification:
  • Maryland Veterinary License

Work Location: In person
