Concession Manager

 Position Overview

  • We are seeking a motivated person who wants to grow with our culinary team. We seek a go-getter who isn’t afraid to build new relationships, has a heart of hospitality, and loves to create & plate in a wine and culinary space. The ability to problem solve independently, be attentive to detail, have good communication skills, and desire to launch a new culinary program. 
  • This is a part-time opportunity focused on Thursdays-Sundays


Responsibilities 

  • As the Concession Manager, you will be responsible for creating simple and satisfying menus to complement our experiences.  Establishing & leading kitchen operations including product quality, food preparation procedures, labor management, inventory control, and adherence to all sanitation requirements
  • Guide the culinary team to take pride in food stations, cleaning food preparation equipment and work areas according to health and safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the team to establish workflows and continuously improve the guest experience.
  • Maintains and stocks designated stations, freezers, refrigerators, and storerooms with food products daily: follows proper rotation system
  • Set the team up for success  by opening &  closing the kitchen daily with consistent processes and procedures
  • Identify & implement creative solutions to increase efficiency and team productivity focusing on delivering great customer experiences.
  • Comply with safety guidelines and minimum age requirements when handling food & kitchen equipment

Qualifications/Experience:

  • A seasoned professional with experience in the food preparation and hospitality industry
  • Wine/cider &  catering experience is a plus.
  • Thrive in an environment that is team-based and fast-paced.
  • Quick decision-making skills
  • Ability to demonstrate safe food handling knowledge (Current ServSafe or comparable Certificate a plus
  • Ability to communicate at all levels, provide instruction, and train other team members
  • Passion for customer service and satisfaction
  • Available to work weekends
  • Ability to work on your feet for most of the day and carry a case of wine (40 lbs) from storage to the tasting room on occasion.


Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $15.00 - $20.00/hour.
