THE BASICS

Pay:

We proudly provide competitive pay between $14 - $16 an hour.

Schedule:

Our clinic has part-time and full-time hours available ranging from Monday to Thursday 7 am to 4 pm or 8 am to 5 pm with 30 - 45 minutes for lunch.

YOUR DAY AS A VETERINARY ASSISTANT

As a Veterinary Assistant, you prepare pets for spay/neuter surgery. You carefully ensure each patient is settled and ready, comforting both anxious owners and their furry companions. Once surgeries commence, you transition to monitoring patients in recovery, attentively observing vital signs and post-operative progress for a seamless transition back to consciousness. Throughout the day, you diligently maintain the surgical pharmacy log, meticulously tracking medications and supplies to uphold inventory accuracy and regulatory standards. Each task you undertake is executed with care and dedication, reflecting your unwavering commitment to the well-being of our beloved animal friends.

REQUIREMENTS FOR A VETERINARY ASSISTANT

Can you adapt easily in a fast-paced environment? Are you a team player? If yes, you might be perfect for this position! We also require:

• 2+ years of experience in the veterinary field
• A positive attitude
• Punctuality
