About this job
Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Respond and resolve in a timely, professional manner to guest requests for room maintenance.
- Complete preventative maintenance tasks throughout the hotel and guest rooms.
- Completes basic work order requests, such as; general plumbing, furniture repair, general electrical, general maintenance issues, etc.
- Communicates with Hotel Leadership on current maintenance work orders
- Maintains appearance of exterior of the building by pressing washing, take out trash, landscaping, etc.
- Understands about the hotel’s life safety systems and completes monthly checks on safety equipment.
- Work alongside Housekeeping to have complete understanding of guest room status.
- Completes other duties assigned by Management
Qualifications Include (not limited to):
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One year experience in a similar job preferred
- Ability to utilize hand tools
- Problem-solving and multi-tasking skills are a must.
- Must be willing to work weekends, nights, days, and holidays.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be willing to work as a team and solo.
