Responsibilities:
- Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings, using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, soldering, brazing, or welding equipment
- Install and repair pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, appliances such as dishwashers or water heaters, or fixtures such as sinks and toilets, using hand or power tools
- Plan the layout of plumbing, using drawings
- Perform maintenance of water supply systems
- Install and maintain gas and liquid heating systems
- Drive company's vehicles to and back from job site
- Maintain appropriate inventory levels in work vehicle and stock supplies for each project
- Keep workspace and vehicle clean and organized
- Prepare reports and proper documentation related to the job
- Follow work orders and crew chief instructions
- Professionally interact with customers and clearly communicate work orders and statuses
- Occasionally work after hours and on weekends for an emergency job
Qualifications:
- Valid Plumbing License is preferred
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience
- Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including climbing ladders, working at heights and in tight spaces, and lifting heavy objects
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems
- Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment
