Personal Care Aide

Job Summary:
Select Care Generations, located in Macon, Georgia, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Personal Care Aide. This full-time, hourly position in the healthcare/medical field will provide direct care and support to our clients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Compensation & Benefits:
The Personal Care Aide position at Select Care Generations offers a competitive hourly wage of $10 to $12, paid biweekly.

Responsibilities:
- Provide direct personal care to clients, including assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Aid in mobility and transferring of clients as needed
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedule
- Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Assist with housekeeping tasks, including laundry and light cleaning
- Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities with clients
- Document all care provided accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe and clean living environment for clients

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a healthcare or home care setting is preferred
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening
