Senior Production Analyst

Faulconer Energy, LLC, a growing Independent Texas Oil & Gas Company with over 40 years in the industry, has a new exciting opportunity for a Senior Production Analyst in our Tyler, Texas Office. The position manages production analysis and reporting processes for operated assets primarily in the Texas/Oklahoma/Louisiana region.

The Senior Production Analyst position is located in beautiful Tyler, Texas in the Piney Woods. Position Responsibilities:

  • Focal point for locating, analyzing, and verifying all daily oil and gas production data in a timely and proficient manner.
  • Partner with engineering and operations groups to conduct production analysis of historical well performance, well trending and modeling for follow up with respective operations leadership.
  • Create and maintain ad hoc reporting for the analysis of production trends.
  • Ensure accurate and timely monthly close and delivery for monthly production allocations and agency reporting, Revenue and JIB allocations.
  • Assist management, field and office personnel with complex allocation problems as they arise, as well as provide training to improve end user experience for various departments including, Operations, Regulatory, Revenue, JIB, and Marketing.
  • Responsible for providing accurate daily production volumes to Accounting and regulatory groups for monthly closing processes and reporting.
  • Streamline data and allocation processes across the department to reduce errors and time required to complete tasks.
  • Design and implement controls processes and quality control procedures to ensure data accuracy and efficiency within Evin/Field Operator, ProCount and Carte.
  • Communicate daily with lease operators to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Complete and distribute daily, monthly and annual production reports.
  • Partner with automation and operations groups to ensure the integrity of production information supplied to and utilized throughout the Company.
  • Resolve complex production accounting problems.
  • Provide analytical support to management, including operational managers and executives.
  • Develop relationships with Accounting and operations groups, and leaders of the organization.
  • Communicate analytical results to Company leadership in an understandable manner.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Engineering, or Business preferred.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Oil & Gas production reporting.
  • Candidates with previous Engineering/Technician and Accounting/Business exposure are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Strong P2 eVIN/Field Operator, Procount and Carte software experience is required.
  • Experience working with SQL databases.
  • Possess strong work ethic and professional standards.
  • Strong analytical skills combined with critical thinking capability.
  • Financial and economic knowledge desired.
  • Ability to work in a proficient manner with limited supervision.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and listening skills.
  • Action-oriented with demonstrated initiative to follow up and follow through on projects.
  • Self-motivated, organized and detail oriented, with the ability to multi-task and work with challenging issues, while establishing and meeting deadlines.
  • Capability to work effectively with a diverse group of team members.
  • Exposure to state reporting agency websites and data sources for Oil & Gas.
  • Well-developed computer skills to include demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office and industry-specific software.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone other than your current employer.
