We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HVAC Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing installation projects, service repairs/maintenance. The HVAC Operations Manager will also be tasked with ensuring compliance with safety regulations, managing a team of technicians, and implementing strategies to optimize efficiency and productivity.

 Role and Responsibilities

As the HVAC Operations Manager it is your responsibility to oversee the day-to-day activities of the HVAC team alongside our Service Manager. Your responsibilities, when successfully executed, will maximize efficiency, increase productivity, increase profit, reduce costs, and ensure we are delivering a phenomenal service to our team and customers. Your primary areas of responsibility are Sales, Management, Product Knowledge, Technical Training, and Gross Margin.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HVAC department, including scheduling, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of projects and timely completion of tasks.
• Monitor and expand existing maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and longevity of HVAC systems.
• Conduct regular inspections of HVAC equipment and facilities to identify issues and recommend solutions.
• Manage inventory levels and procurement of necessary supplies and equipment.
• Train, mentor, and provide guidance to HVAC technicians to enhance their skills and capabilities.
• Always ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Prepare reports and documentation as required by management.

Requirements:

• Training in mechanical engineering, HVAC Technology, or a related field (preferred).
• 2 years’ experience in HVAC operations management
• Technical knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.
• Proven leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Proficiency using Service Titan/applications relevant to HVAC operations.
• Relevant licenses and certifications.
• EPA Universal Certification & OSHA 30 (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. No exceptions.
