Hospitality Attendant

We are seeking a Kitchen Attendant for our Corporate Services team in New York. Corporate Services provides best-in-class support for all office operations and employee amenities within our new 6 floor, Class A office in midtown Manhattan. The successful candidate will exhibit a strong work ethic, timeliness and the ability to be flexible and prioritize needs across pantries/kitchens. This role is focused on dishwashing within a corporate environment. The role is highly mobile and requires a candidate who is hardworking and focused on delivering a clean space. The successful candidate will have experience in food service, washing dishes, and cleaning, preferably with some experience in an office environment. Primary Functions & Responsibilities Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Washing dishes across 6 floors, in multiple pantries continuously throughout the day · Loading and unloading dishwashers and ensuring that pantries are organized, with all dishware sorted properly. · Evaluating whether one pantry requires more dishware and shifting dishes as needed between pantries. · Keeping track of overall dish count and reporting when additional stock is needed. · Checking cleanliness of pantries, wiping down counters and equipment as needed. · Monthly cleaning of appliances. · Weekly cleaning of dishware and snack cupboards/storage. · Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish storage areas (drawers and cabinets) · Requires moderate physical effort and reaching above shoulder and below knee. · Helps load and unload supplies as required. Qualifications Education: · Education: HS Diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required. Experience: · Knowledge/experience with proper dishwashing procedures and experience cleaning. · 1-2 years of Food Services or Corporate Services (Hospitality/Professional Services) ideal.
