Minimum 1+ years paraprofessional or special education experience required.

We arelooking for a full-time Paraprofessional to join the team with a school district in Peterborough, NH. The successful candidate willprovide support for the students in the classroom or one on one settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with students, providing educational and behavioral support
  • Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to implement educational plans and interventions
  • Adapt and modify materials and instruction to meet individual student needs
  • Assist with daily living skills, including toileting, feeding, and mobility, as needed
  • Document student progress and municate with parents and guardians as necessary

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred)
  • Experience working with students with disabilities, preferably in an educational setting
  • Ability to municate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
  • Ability to adapt and modify instruction to meet individual student needs
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
