Business Analyst

If you are adept at creating action plans based on business needs and a proficient problem-solver, Robert Half has a Business Analyst role you may be interested in! This Business Analyst will work with multiple business units to elicit, document, and analyze business and technical needs. To be successful in this role, you must have exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to communicate technical and business requirements alike.

Major responsibilities:

1. Elicits and documents requirements through user stories, use cases, process flow diagrams, etc.
2. Gather, analyze and prioritize requests by collaborating with business units, development teams, and other stakeholders.
3. Verifies that complex requirements are executable, testable, and complete, rather than ambiguous.

1. 4+ years of business analysis experience.
2. Experience on a variety of simple to complex projects.
3. Strong ability to elicit and document requirements in a clear and concise manner.
4. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business Administration or equivalent work experience.
5. Comfortable writing basic to moderately complex SQL queries, as well as technical skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Jira (or similar tool).
6. Prior experience with Agile methodology.
7. Ability to communicate to all levels in an organization, strong problem-solving skills, adaptable, flexible, proactive and willing to take ownership.
