We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing personalized learning experiences and support to students with diverse learning needs.
FT or PT ASAP May 24, 2024
Hours 7.5 hours a day @ someone half a day
On-Site
Responsibilities:
- Caseload: 11 students (Elementary: 3rd 5th Grade)
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Provide direct instruction using various teaching strategies to acmodate diverse learning styles.
- Collaborate with parents, guardians, and fellow educators to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student performance and behavior.
Requirements:
- Must have a SPED Endorsement for PBS Classroom (Positive Behavior Support Classroom)
- They will NOT have to do IEPs just be in the classroom.
- Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and instructional strategies.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with students with disabilities.
- Familiarity with assistive technologies and adaptive learning tools.
- Training or coursework in behavioral intervention techniques.
