We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing personalized learning experiences and support to students with diverse learning needs.

Hours 7.5 hours a day @ someone half a day
On-Site

Responsibilities:

• Caseload: 11 students (Elementary: 3rd 5th Grade)
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Provide direct instruction using various teaching strategies to acmodate diverse learning styles.
• Collaborate with parents, guardians, and fellow educators to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student performance and behavior.

Requirements:

• Must have a SPED Endorsement for PBS Classroom (Positive Behavior Support Classroom)
• They will NOT have to do IEPs just be in the classroom.
• Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and instructional strategies.
• Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with students with disabilities.
• Familiarity with assistive technologies and adaptive learning tools.
• Training or coursework in behavioral intervention techniques.
