Full Time Paraprofessional (PARA) / Teacher Assistant (TA) Opening Near Laconia, NH

AParaprofessional (PARA) / Teacher Assistant (TA) position for the remainder of the 2023-2024 school year has opened up in the Laconia, New Hampshire area. We are looking for a candidate wanting to work with students of varying levels in aMiddle Schoolsetting to join our Special Education team!

Qualifications:

• Must have a HighSchool Diploma/GED
• Previous school experience preferred, but not required
• Must be fortable working with Special Education students
• Must be able to pass a Background Check

About the Position:

• Full time / 35 hours a week
• 7 hours per day, Monday - Friday
• ASAP - 06/19/2024
• Caseload: Middle school students, specific caseload details will be discussed during the interview process
• Pay Range: $15 - $25 per hour, depending on previous experience

Daily Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to provide academic support and reinforcement.
• Assist students with special needs, learning challenges, or disabilities in their educational and social development.
