In need of LEAD Cable Technicians with experience leading a team of at least 8.
100% TRAVEL
HOTELS PAID & 55$ Per Diem
18 MONTH CONTRACT
Correctional Facilities throughout the state of California. 35 different Correctional Facilities throughout the contract.
5 12 hour shifts.
They need (6) Lead installers who can do Cat 6 cable terminations and lead a small team, hopefully they can do MDF/IDF rack and stack type work as well. Once the training is completed, they will start the first site will start on 7/6 in Blythe, CA – East of LA/SD. They may all be on the same site until other sites kick off, first 4 site schedule below. These guys will ultimately be on their own site managing a team of up to 8 techs, 6 installers, 1 electrician and 1 fiber tech.

- Paying for the hotel directly depending on distance from their home but we expect most will be traveling full time as the prisons are generally in the middle of nowhere.
- Per diem of $55/day for food allowance and incidentals
- They will cover there geographic area mostly, norcal guys do norcal prisons and southern do south. We have a few mid-state prisons (Fresno, SLO) so someone in the middle could do those.
- Will train with GTL at a current site outside of CA for a week before hitting the sites here in CA. Expenses to be paid.
- CAT 6 install – terminations, following building diagrams, etc. MDF/IDF rack and stack work.
- Must be good with working in a prison and all that goes with that environment.
- Must bring basic hand tools, I am getting a list but nothing crazy they shouldn’t already have.
- NO drug or background check, NOT prevailing wage.
