**Job Title:** Physical Therapist - Pediatrics

**Location:** Meridian, MS

**Schedule:** Full-time, 4 days a week, 10 hours/day (Monday to Thursday), 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM

**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our Pediatrics team in Meridian, MS. As a member of our therapy/rehabilitation department, you will work with pediatric patients to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate physical therapy treatments and interventions tailored to individual needs. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure prehensive care and positive outes for our pediatric patients.

**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct thorough evaluations of pediatric patients to assess physical abilities, limitations, and impairments.
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.
- Implement interventions to improve mobility, strength, coordination, and motor skills in pediatric patients.
- Provide education and guidance to patients, families, and caregivers regarding therapeutic exercises, home programs, and adaptive equipment.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to achieve therapy goals.
- Document patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment outes in pliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and social workers, to coordinate care and optimize patient outes.
- Participate in meetings, case conferences, and in-service training to enhance professional development and contribute to the overall quality of care delivery.

**Qualifications:**
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Mississippi.
- Prior experience working with pediatric populations preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in pediatric physical therapy assessment, treatment, and intervention.
- Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

- Basic puter proficiency for documentation and munication purposes.
