Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Education Teacher to join our team in Peterborough, NH. The ideal candidate will be fortable working with middle school students and have a passion for supporting students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
  • Collaborate with other school staff, including general education teachers, therapists, and administrators.
  • Provide instruction tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student performance and progress.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
  • Valid teaching license/certification in Special Education.
  • Prior experience working in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
