Job Details:
- Position: Paraprofessional
- Type: Full-Time
- Location: Onsite
- Contract Duration: From now through the end of the school year, with the possibility for contract renewal
State Licensure Requirements (if applicable):
- North Carolina Paraprofessional Certification or equivalent (if applicable)
Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance and support to elementary students in various educational activities under the direction of the classroom teacher
- Assist students with special needs in implementing their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to ensure the success and well-being of students
- Maintain confidentiality of student information
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with elementary students preferred
- Strong munication and interpersonal skills
