Description

Position Summary:

Handles inventory transactions for technicians. Receives, stages, and processes returned materials from domestic and international customers. Decontaminates returned goods. Involved in inventory management, material handling, and warehouse activities. Packages new and refurbished instruments and spare parts. Maintains accurate records and 5S principles to support the IRC activities.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Process material transactions for IRC repair activity.
  • Maintain accurate customer owned inventory.
  • Pull parts for the IRC technicians.
  • Receive returned goods from FSEs, domestic and international customers.
  • Decontaminate the required returned goods.
  • Warehouse the returned goods.
  • Maintain accurate inventory.
  • Package new and refurbished instruments and spare parts.
  • Interface with other departments.
  • Manage biohazard activity.
  • Follow all departmental and company safety policies including maintaining work areas and following 5S principles
  • Work with IRC Management to ensure compliance with all cGMP, ISO and FDA guidelines.

Education, Skills, & Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED with one year of demonstrated experience in material handling and inventory management required.
    • Experience with the safe and efficient use material handling equipment such as a floor jack, hand truck, order picker, and forklift is required.
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations, preferred.
  • Requires good interpersonal skills and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Kaizen and 5S principles is highly preferred.
  • Must be proficient in the use of computers to enter and retrieve data. SAP, ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning), preferred.
