Our client, a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Management Department supporting various teams within the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent attention to detail, and effective communication abilities which will align successfully in the organization.

 

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Bay Point, CA

Pay Range: $38.00/hr

What’s the Job?

  • Troubleshoot, analyze, and repair breakdowns or malfunctions of plant, facility utilities, electrical and mechanical equipment, utilizing contractors and outside services when necessary.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on a regular schedule, document findings, order parts, and make repairs as needed.
  • Develop skills in machining, alignment, welding, electrical work, pipefitting, preventative as well as predictive maintenance, with the ability to train others in at least two or more of these areas.
  • Maintain all facility systems and utilities including boilers, compressors, heat exchangers, sprinklers, gas piping, chillers, process water, HVAC, pest control, alarm, sanitary, and storm sewer systems.
  • Perform work orders as assigned, communicate the status of mechanical, electrical, and/or maintenance issues to affected team members and departments, and document any major problem areas.

What’s Needed?

  • Brillium testing required
  • 2-5 years of experience working in a maintenance role for a manufacturing/industrial company.
  • Background as an electrician is a plus.
  • Technical certification/degree a plus.
  • Proven ability to work in compliance with safety and health standards as well as site policies.
