Staffmark is actively seeking skilled individuals in Beavercreek, OH, to join our team as CNC Lathe Machinists for a renowned company specializing in quartz manufacturing.


Pay Rate: $21 to $24/hr


Shift Availability:

  • 1st Shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:30 pm
  • 3rd Shift: 11:00 pm - 7:30 am


As a CNC Lathe Machinist, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality products that precisely meet our customers' specifications. Your primary responsibilities include setting up CNC Lathe machines for production runs as needed, troubleshooting issues during CNC production to minimize non-conformances, and promptly notifying the Cell Lead of any emerging problems. You'll utilize calipers, micrometers, and indicators during setups to ensure precise machine and fixture settings, and apply basic math skills to determine and execute tool offsets. Additionally, you'll interpret CMM reports to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications, dress and adjust tools for CNC machines, and operate multiple machines efficiently. Daily tasks will also include performing 5S (cleaning) duties, conducting visual inspections of machines, and ensuring proper coolant levels. You'll also be expected to carry out any other duties as assigned.


Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Loading parts and using inspection equipment
  • Loading tools and ensuring manufacturing quality
  • Familiarity with controls and instrumentation
  • Equipment maintenance experience
  • Mechanical inspection tool proficiency
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of tooling and safety management
  • High school diploma or GED required
