Scope of role

The Thomson Division is a major contributor to the Segment, with approximately 1,500 global associates and $400M in revenue. There are 10 main sites located across the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean, & Europe.

This position is responsible for maximizing sales growth in the Southwest United States through distribution and direct. Weneed a person who is amotivated, self-starter who excels at working remotely.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Advocate for the needs of the customer base
  • Lead and manage sales activities
  • Provide technical solutions, support, and assistance to the customer base
  • Provide customer feedback and needs to the organization to assist in the planning process
  • Cultivate relationships with industry partners to strengthen our position in the marketplace
  • Maintain all aspects of the product sales cycle
  • Utilize the Value Sell philosophy.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or the equivalent industry experience. MBAa plus
  • Minimum of 5 years successful Motion Control (electrical and/or mechanical) Sales or Marketing Experience
SKILLS/ABILITIES
  • Technical understanding of Thomson and Nook products and associated integrated products
  • Drive for continuous improvement
  • Excellent interpersonal, organization, computer, writing and presentation skills

$87,300.00-$136,100.00 Annual

Offers will be negotiated based on each candidate's qualifications.

Incentive Compensation

This role is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan. Incentives are earned based on employee performance against defined metrics and company goals.
