Job: Aviation Military Analyst

Location: Fort Novosel, Alabama

Position: Full time

Clearance: SECRET


Pending Contract Award

Summary: This position is located at Fort Novosel, Alabama, and supports the Concepts, Experimentation and Analysis Directorate (CEAD).

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide support for planning and executing Aviation-related experimentation, reviewing, and updating Army and Joint concepts, CBA/TBAs, and documented Aviation requirements in Joint, Army, Functional and Special/Directed Concepts. Participate in workgroups, Map Exercises, and wargames to integrate aviation capabilities and requirements and supporting CONOPs development, CBA/TBA and Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System documentation. Support includes using constructed scenarios, vignettes, data collection, data reduction, analysis, and preparation of reports and briefing materials. Provide on-site and off-site support for CEAD programs, projects, technologies, and efforts. Support concept development while leveraging extensive experience, expertise, resources, and capabilities available within CDID, CEAD and the Army as whole. Additional contractor responsibilities include planning, coordinating, attending, and documenting working groups in support of Joint, Army and Warfighting Functional concepts, Future Concept Center (FCC) Experimentation events and directed Limited Objective Experiments in support of the Aviation Capabilities Development and Integration Directorate (A-CDID) and other DoD organizations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Former Officer, Warrant Officer (WO) or Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) with 15 years of Aviation operational experience in Army Corps, Division and/or Combat Aviation Brigades executing and/or planning manned and unmanned operational missions.
  • Experience with MS Access, MySQL, ADAPT and Advanced Tactical Model (ATCOM).
  • Secret Security Clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Graduate of ILE, Warrant Officer Senior Staff Course, Senior NCO Leadership course or higher-level military education.
  • Aviation operational experience to the general capability areas identified above.
  • Experience developing future concepts, executing the JCIDS process, from conducting a CBA through authoring and staffing of relevant capability documents.
