$125,000 - $130,000

At CMCS (Cardinal McCloskey Community Services), our mission is to protect, empower and promote independence for at-risk children and families and those with developmental disabilities through quality community based services.
The Administrative Director is a senior leader for Cardinal McCloskey Community Services, responsible for the
oversight of the DD Services programs, reporting to the Vice President for Developmental Disabilities Services.
The Administrative Director must be thoroughly knowledgeable of the operations, policies and procedures,
regulatory requirements, and quality standards necessary to support the monitoring, assessment, and oversight of
all DD service areas. The Administrative Director will serve as a leader with vision to support a culture of
excellence, teamwork, continuous quality improvement, shared learning, and successful outcomes, in line with best
practices and innovations in the field.
The Administrative Director ensures services are developed and implemented consistent with our Mission and in
compliance with applicable regulations and quality standards. The Administrative Director will serve to further
organizational endeavors in concert with other agency leaders, including full integration and strengthening of the
Sanctuary Model, DDI, and EDI principles, supporting and maintaining COA accreditation, and supporting the
organization's strategic and annual plan goals in line with our Mission. This position is on-site, in person, and may
be required to provide emergency and on-call coverage.
Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in a related field required and at least 5 years OPWDD administrative experience which must
include residential experience. - Training in Applied Behavior Analysis preferred.
- Sufficient background and knowledge base in OPWDD and other regulations and standards governing I/DD
services, demonstrated management and leadership abilities, and strong analytic, problem-solving, and critical
thinking skills. - Experience with excel, Powerpoint and electronic health records.
Additional Requirements:
- Must have a valid New York State Driver's License and acceptable driving record as issued by Department of
Motor Vehicles - Strong and persuasive communication skills, in written and verbal form.
- Able to physically intervene in responding to potentially dangerous situations when on site.
- Able to work with a flexible schedule and travel as required to various locations as part of fulfilling
responsibilities. *
