InfraHire is looking for a Journeyman Electrician in Iowa, IA.
Job Description:
- Install and maintain electrical equipment on Cell Phone Towers.
- Travel approximately 90% of the time to various locations in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, and potentially other states.
- Collaborate closely with construction crews and Project Managers to meet project deadlines.
- Conduct routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems.
- Ensure that electrical installations meet client standards for quality of work, with a focus on adhering to budgeted hours.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of electrical construction materials and control equipment.
- Interpret drawings, sketches, software, and plans to determine optimal work procedures and necessary tools and equipment for troubleshooting and repair.
- Inspect Cell Tower Sites to ensure compliance with plans and specifications, identify deficiencies, provide coaching, and take corrective action as required.
- Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to Electrical Apprentice/Construction Crews.
- Promote safety on the job site during installation and service work.
- Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit; weld supports; install cable and duct banks; and make terminations.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Be a licensed Journeyman Electrician (Class A)
- Experience in the construction industry; Telecom Industry a plus
- Ability to work in a team environment with construction crews, Project Managers, and Foreman's
- Work in all weather conditions
- Have a valid Driver's License
- Attention to Details
