Charles Lea Center in Spartanburg, SC is hiring a Medication Administration Certified Trainer

The Medication Administration Certified Trainer position earns an hourly wage of 20.00/hour.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION CERTIFIED TRAINER:

As a Medication Administration Certified Trainer, you will provide general management over CLC's Medication Administration Training and certification for all unlicensed personnel within the residential and day programs. The Medication Administration Certified Trainer assumes responsibility and accountability for the delivery of new hires training, continued education, and competency evaluation for all unlicensed personnel responsible for administering medications. Collaborate with other departments to assure all unlicensed personnel receive medication administration training and are competent to properly administer as directed by the South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs (SCDDSN).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to pass a background check upon hire.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Diploma or Associates degree from an accredited school of Nursing with a minimum of two (2) years professional Nursing experience in long term care or a similar setting preferred
  • Current SC Nurse Licensure
