Interested in relocating to New Orleans for a great career opportunity in the restaurant industry? We'll we have a Restaurant Manager position available in a luxury hotel in a high end, high volume steakhouse environment.
Responsibilities: - Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, including kitchen and dining areas - Supervise and train restaurant staff, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction - Manage inventory and order supplies as needed - Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards - Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner - Implement and enforce health and safety regulations - Create and update employee schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels - Conduct interviews and assist with hiring new team members - Collaborate with the assistant manager to develop strategies for improving restaurant performance
Experience: - Previous experience in restaurant management or a similar role - Strong knowledge of kitchen operations and food safety regulations - Proficiency in using Aloha POS system or similar restaurant management software - Excellent leadership and team management skills - Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently - Experience conducting interviews and training new employees
