9:30pm - 6:00am (Sunday thru Thursday)

Position Summary

Fulfillment Operator 4 will have the ability to perform all functions to include: Box on Demand, moving, picking, stocking and staging products and materials using a Turret Truck, “Cherry picker”, reach truck, pacer, walkie or other material handling equipment. The Fulfillment Operator 4 will assist and monitor the daily work schedules/functions of fulfillment operators within a multi-shift/functional facility. Performing a combination of the following: shipping, receiving, loading and unloading trucks (to include import – manual unloads), stacking, picking, routing, waving, billing, packing/palletizing finished products, some quality control and inventory control functions, and Kitting/rework.

Major Responsibilities

· Perform required duties and functions including: Box on Demand, order picking, full pallet replenishments, product moves, loading, unloading, and put away. Assisting with other projects as assigned.

· Maintains PIT certifications on the walkie rider, pacer, reach truck, Turret Truck, and Cherry Picker. Demonstrates competency using an RF scanning device.

· Assists and follows overall company goals in servicing the customer and meeting all required KPI’s

· Monitor the flow of work to ensure maximum use of available capacity and effective use of labor, tools, and equipment to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.

· Back-up shift Lead and Operations Supervisor on a shift as business dictates

· Recommend changes in procedures to improve the operating efficiency of the logistics team – CI initiatives.

· Provides leadership and motivation to center employees helping them to achieve overall performance goals.

· Assist with training new hires and cross training for all positions / functions.

· Maintain the facilities, equipment, tools and materials in a neat, clean, orderly fashion, adhering to all sanitation practices.

· Follows all AMES/ACDC policies and procedures, best practices, and OSHA regulations.

· Must comply with all safety policies and procedures; including, but not limited to wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE).

· Other duties as assigned (including, but not limited to, training of others within job class, sanitation, down pallets clean-up, safety committee, etc.).

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Education Requirements

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Must be able to complete simple math, to include addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

· Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions.

Relevant Work Experience

· At least two of the three stand up forklift certifications and RF scanning device experience or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
