Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Controller to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in Distribution and Manufacturing environments, demonstrating strong financial acumen, strategic planning skills, and leadership abilities. The Controller will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial activities, budgeting, planning, auditing, and accounting functions. This position requires someone with a strong background in financial analysis, team management, and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and optimize financial performance.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Conduct regular financial audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to accounting principles.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management to support decision-making and drive business growth.
• Supervise and mentor a team of 8 or more finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and achieve company objectives.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to proactively identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
• Additional tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in financial management, preferably in Distribution or Manufacturing industries.
• Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, planning, and auditing principles.
• Proven track record of successfully managing teams and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management software.
• Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and integrity.
• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Compensation: Salary range: $140,000 - $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
