Due to our growth and the volume of opportunities now in front of us, we are looking for someone to join our team as our Business/Accounting Analyst.

Job Summary: As our Business/Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for establishing internal controls, implementing accounting guidelines, and conducting internal audits. This individual will assist in budgetary matters, contribute to financial management policies, assist the revenue development, conduct data analysis, and aid in the creation of long-term financial plans. The expertise of our business accounting analyst will ensure the accuracy and integrity of our finance operations.

Location: We are headquartered in Purdy, MO., with facilities across southwest Missouri. You will be required to work at our Purdy location for the majority of the time, but may, as needed, be required to work at one of our other facilities.

Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement internal control procedures to safeguard company assets.
  • Identify discrepancies, inefficiencies, or potential risks and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understanding financial needs and provide support.
  • Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports; ensures that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in developing and refining financial management policies and procedures.
  • Document financial processes and procedures to enhance transparency and compliance.
  • Contribute in the preparation of financial forecasts and provide insights into potential risks and opportunities.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret financial and operational data to support decision-making.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to streamline operations.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysist to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Gather and compile information on processes, organizational structure, computer technology, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintain or assists with maintenance of accounting information systems.
  • Analyze key performance indicators to assess business performance and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Support special projects and initiative requiring financial expertise.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Work in a team environment with ability to communicate in a concise, polite and respectful manner.
  • Ability to work cross functionally and with various business partners.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Budgeting, Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years or more related financial/accounting experience required.
  • Professional certification such as CPA or CMA designation is preferred.
