Advanced Practice Provider (Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)

Department: Medical Clinic
Reports To: Medical Director

Position Summary: Provide primary health care services under the supervision of a physician, adhering to Clinic policies and Texas laws. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, manage acute/chronic conditions, and ensure ethical patient care. Maintain medical records, prescribe medications, and contribute to performance improvement. Collaborate with healthcare

Nonperformance Requirements: Supervised by the Medical Director, overseeing LVNs and Medical Assistants. Collaborate effectively with all hospital staff.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Demonstrate teamwork and uphold core values.

· Ensure patient dignity and ethical care.

· Conduct physical assessments, administer treatments, and maintain accurate records.

· Collaborate with physicians, contribute to patient care plans.

· Adhere to infection control policies.

· Stay updated with relevant regulations and maintain professional knowledge.

· Contribute to team efforts and follow hospital policies.teams, embodying the hospital's core values.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

· Family Nurse Practitioner: Graduate from an accredited program; Texas licensure; 2-4 years related experience.

· Physician Assistant: Graduate from an AMA-approved program; Texas licensure; NCCPA certificate.

Qualifications:

· Family Nurse Practitioner: Masters Level Program; Texas licensure.

· Physician Assistant: AMA-approved Program; Texas licensure; NCCPA certificate.

· Proficiency in triage processes.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Hold or be eligible for relevant licensure and

certifications.

Qualification Requirements: Demonstrate teamwork, ethical conduct, and effective communication. Ability to perform clinical duties, interpret technical documents, and solve practical problems.

Physical Demands: Varied physical activities, lifting up to 100 pounds. Adaptability to environmental conditions.

Work Environment: Exposure to various substances and occasional exposure to mechanical risks. Moderate noise level.
