Inventory Control Specialist

Job Summary

Employee will maintain the organization's inventory; ordering and supplying necessary items while maintaining accurate records of all procurements. Works closely with cost accountant.

HOURS: M-TH 6am-4:30pm

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

• Familiarity with MRP and data entry systems.
• Detect discrepancies between stocks and records.
• Maintain negative reports with cost accountant and plant manager.
• Perform cycle counts and inventory.
• Identify low-turn stock.
• Fulfillment of orders - LTL and small package.
• Maintain sufficient supply.
• Minimize cost and reduce losses.
• Works closely with cost accountant.
• All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Two or more years of warehouse management experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of business technologies including Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a dynamic business environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Experience in material management.
• Manufacturing background preferred.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Basic budget management skills.
• Self-motivated, highly organized, with superior time management skills.

Physical Demands

• Required to reach with hands and arms.
• Push, pull, move or lift up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment

Job functions will be carried out in a factory environment
