Machine Operator

HiFyve is hiring for a 2nd Shift Machine Operator in Auburndale, FL!

Salary Range and Benefits:

• $20-$23/hr +monthly, quarterly, & annual bonuses
• 2nd Shift: 3pm-1:30am Mon-Thur
• Full benefits package

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a tidy and organized workstation.
• Load bulk paper and aluminum rolls onto the unwinder.
• Pack small rolls of Reflective Insulation onto pallets.
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met and document findings.
• Record daily production, receipts, and shipping details accurately.
• Perform minor repairs on machinery as needed.
• Utilize various tools to support manufacturing processes.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and troubleshoot any issues identified.
• Demonstrate proficiency across multiple job-related competencies.
• Work independently while adhering to established procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain equipment functionality.
• Follow company safety protocols diligently.
• Safely handle weights ranging from 40-60 lbs.
• Assist with additional tasks or projects when required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years experience in Roll Converting and operating machinery is essential.
• Must be able to stand for the duration of shifts and adhere to proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines.
• Capable of safely lifting weights up to 60 lbs.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication, along with basic mathematics skills, is required.
• Successful completion of fork truck safety training is mandatory.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent education is necessary.
• Possession of a valid Drivers License is required, with preference given to those with a CDL.
• Pre-employment drug screening and physical examination are mandatory.
• Demonstrated aptitude in mathematics, problem-solving, computer literacy, and mechanical comprehension is necessary.
• Strong attention to detail is a fundamental requirement.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Proficient in utilizing hand tools.
• Willingness to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
• Additional education and experience, particularly in electrical fields, are advantageous.
