Position: Database Analytics DBA (PowerBi, SQL Server)

Location: Rockville, MD - Fully Onsite 5 Days a week

Details: This is a Contract-to-Hire Opportunity, target salary depending on experience is $95K - $110K + Bonus and amazing benefits/incentives

Job Qualifications:

• 4-7 Years of Database Administration, Data Analysis, Data Analytics or Data Science
• Strong SQL Server and ability to spin up a Database
• Strong experience building PowerBi Dashboard and Reports
• Performance Tuning

Skills:

• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Expertise and experience in preparing high level requirements, use cases, business requirement documents, functional specifications, and traceability matrix.
• Proven ability to map business process and workflows, conducting gap analysis and documenting requirements, ensuring requirements are developed and tested.
• Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations to stakeholders
• Strong Complex SQL Server and relational databases, having built and/or managed dashboards and reports in BI applications
• Communicates effectively at all levels to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) is a bonus.
• Flexibility to adapt to change and willing to learn and develop new skill sets as applicable

Physical Demands

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
