Salary:

Vertex is currently accepting applications for experienced full-time Class A CDL Truck Drivers with Hazmat and Tanker Endorsement.  Preference will be given to Candidates that have experience hauling Crude Oil, Butane and Propane with tank trucks, but full training can be provided to the right candidate.  

 

Position Title: Class A CDL Truck Driver

Position locations: Stanley ND / Tioga ND / Williston ND / Watford City ND / Plentywood MT

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and/or Tanker Endorsement
  • Valid passport is considered an asset
  • Clean driving record
  • Preference will be given to those with 2 years’ experience driving tank trucks (fluid hauling) desired
  • Capable to operate Tri - Axle units and Semi-Truck / Double Bottom Trucks
  • Active Passport preferred
  • Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity
  • Capable of preforming physical duties (lifting, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching)

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive and operate equipment in a safe and professional manner
  • Participate in safety program by ensuring all company and customer policies & procedures are adhered to
  • Attendance and participation in toolbox talks and safety meetings, hazard assessment development, pre-trips/post-trips
  • Willing to work as a team player with coworkers, contractors, and customers
  • Follow all local, state, and federal compliance regulations and rules
  • Ensure all safety certificate training are up to date
  • Perform basic maintenance on units to ensure cleanliness and efficient operation
  • Complete and maintain all required paperwork and documentation properly within set timelines
  • Workload and schedules may vary depending on emergency situations and routine work that can be punctuated by very busy periods
  • Travel is required and driving will occur in all weather conditions to various customer and/or Vertex worksites
