Industrial Cleaner Waycross Ga

Labor Finders has a long term customer seeking to hire an experiences industrial cleaner for their plant in the Waycross area.

Will provide general housekeeping and wood dust clean-up activities throughout the plant to maintain a safe workplace and to be compliant with all Company & OSHA industrial hygiene requirements.
Ensure that wood dust deposits throughout the plant, especially focusing on the pelletizing & hammer mill floor, are routinely cleaned and eliminated.
Clean building floors and equipment by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
Gather and empty trash, as required.
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to equipment or cause harm to self or other employees.
Notify management concerning the need for repairs, safety enhancements or additions to buildings or operating equipment.
Ability to follow daily work plan and exhibit self-direction and independence in performing those duties.

This job has the following physical demands: stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch & crawl. Frequently work from heights using lifts and fall protection equipment. May also occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.

While performing functions of the job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions and elevated inside working temperatures. The noise level is usually loud.

Must have ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, including fractions and decimals.

The Labor Finders office will schedule an interview with the customer.

The office is located at 317 Albany Ave in Waycross, Ga 31501
