Body Shop Technician Responsibilities:
• Review damage reports, inspect vehicles for structural damage, remove damaged body parts
• Replace damaged body parts & realign car frames / chassis
• Fit, attach, & weld replacement parts into place
Carry out a range of various repairs:
Metal finishing, panel replacement of all types & sizes, and complete rebuilds / paint jobs
Inspection and location of hidden damages, identify areas of needed repairs
Start to finish role: repairing, refinishing, painting, and finalizing the finished product
Professionally trained managers & estimators compliment the roles of the body technician
Empowered to work both independently and collectively
Clean & safe work environment, climate controlled repair facility
Responsibilities of the job align with the income earned
Operate independently as rapidly as possible to repair / service the concern & get to the next job with the support of the body manager and service dept.
