CNC Lathe Operator

Currently seeking a CNC Lathe Operator in the Cleveland, OH area.

Position description is below:

Must be proficient in the operation of CNC Lathe machines to complete parts in estimated time (Samsung and Doosan). The position involves the simultaneous operation of multiple machines. The position runs production lots, communicates with co-workers regarding productions runs, and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment.

• Performs all assigned machine shop operations.
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures.
• Regularly performs milling, turning, drilling, tapping, de-burring, sawing and sanding tasks.
• Performs inspection of machined products, and documents results.
• Completes and maintains paperwork for parts.
• Assists in other work areas to perform operation of machines, assembly, and sand blasting tasks.
• Must be Proficient in the operation of all CNC lathe equipment
• Must be able to read blueprints
• Understanding of GD&T preferred
• Understanding of machine tools required
• Understanding of inspection procedures required
• Ability to work safely and follow detailed work instructions
• Experience should include knowledge of Fanuc controls.
• Must possess the ability to use a wide variety of measuring devices to inspect components produced, as well as manufactured by other employees and outside vendors.
• Will be expected to develop and document manufacturing processes and procedures to facilitate effective and efficient production of various components.
