A/C Equipment Service & Repair Technician

Blackhole Tech is looking to add an A/C equipment service & repair technician to our team immediately. We are looking for a candidate who is responsible, reliable, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and ready to start right away. Our ideal candidate would have multiple years of experience in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, water treatment maintenance, lease operator or other related fields.

Position Summary

As an A/C equipment service & repair technician, you will be responsible for running and maintaining a service vehicle. You will go onsite to customers’ locations and repair their automotive and heavy-duty shop equipment. The customers may rely on you for your knowledge for training on the equipment you will gain with the experience learned through training and hands-on learning.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Customer coordination and communication
• Keeping accurate job documentation and paperwork completion
• Customer service and follow-up
• Diagnosing and quoting customers equipment for repair
• Repairing customers equipment
• Upselling additional parts and services
• Upselling replacement Equipment
• Working with computers for all aspects of the job
• Managing inventory or repair parts on vehicle
• Accepting payment for services performed
• Collaborate with team members

Qualifications & Requirements

• Clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED Required
• Multiple years of experience in related field
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Entry-level computer skills
• Prior experience in a trade such as electrical or HVAC
