Lead HVAC Service Technician

Quattro Climate Control, a nationwide HVAC installation company and a turnkey specialist, is looking for a dependable, hard-working Lead HVAC Installer along with a Helper. Quattro performs a high volume of renovation and new construction installs for the residential and light commercial markets for the FLAGSTAFF area.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform installation of duct systems in light commercial and residential buildings.
• Install HVAC equipment according to safety requirements, company standards, and manufacturing specifications.
• Receive all materials and equipment required for each job. Confirm and load them into company vehicle.
• Properly connect equipment (electrical hook-ups, gas lines, and venting).
• Perform installation of copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, which includes brazing and soldering.
• Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives as related to building operations and practices safe work habits.
• Will train and mentor installation helpers that accompany the lead installer on jobs.
• Ability to complete the job correctly the first time.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of three years’ experience in HVAC Installation with all types of HVAC equipment (package units, split heat pumps and gas).
• Five or more years of experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of service and maintenance for a variety of HVAC systems in both residential & light commercial, a plus (we are 98% residential).
• EPA certified.
• NATE certification a plus.
• Ability to follow controls/wiring schematic.
• Understand & know how to read Blueprints.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (no DUI breathalyzer to be installed in company van).
• Be able to pass a background check.
• Well groomed, neat appearance.
• Ability to communicate clearly in a friendly, personable way with customers, coworkers, and leadership.
• Strong attention to detail.
