Apotheos Roastery, a local craft coffee roasting and cold brew production facility, will be opening its newest Apotheos Coffee shop in Alpharetta at 5200 Windward Parkway, Walmart #2941.

This location is currently open. Apotheos Coffee is partnering with Walmart to further elevate the in-store experience for its customers.

Our curated menu allows shoppers to enjoy a nice cup of coffee and made-from-scratch treats as often as they’d like without forsaking their budget for a custom beverage or delicious baked good.

Apotheos Roastery’s giveback initiative, Hunger is a Choice, is dedicated to alleviating childhood food insecurity. Hunger is a Choice, and we choose to not ignore this issue in our communities. Every Apotheos Coffee location works directly with the school districts in their vicinity to: pay off school lunch debt; provide funding for free breakfast programs; support gap meal programs for students during summer break; and donate to local food banks that work tirelessly for this cause.

BARISTA ($15/hour + tips)

Baristas will be expected to educate customers about the menu (i.e. coffee drinks and bakery items), take and fulfill orders, make recommendations based on customers’ preferences, and promote special items. Ultimately, you will be responsible for providing a high quality coffee experience.

Duties (including, but not limited to)

· Greet customers as they enter

· Guide customers through the menu and answer any questions pertaining to our offerings

· Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. coffee preferences, dairy/sugar ratios, food allergies, modifications, etc.)

· Prepare beverages following recipes

· Serve beverages and prepared food (i.e. bakery and savory items)

· Receive and process payments

· Follow standard operating procedures related to safety, hygiene, and other necessary procedures

· Monitor inventory; communicate inventory needs with management

· Inspect equipment regularly and report any maintenance needs

· Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items

· Provide samples of our products to Walmart customers;

· Fulfill online orders, including preparing items for customer’s arrival;

· Additional responsibilities as determined by Management

Requirements and Preferred Skills

· Previous Customer Service experience is a plus

· Hands-on experience with coffee equipment is a plus

· Knowledge of sanitation regulations is a plus

· Ability to follow standard operating procedures

· Flexibility to work various shifts

· Basic math skills

· Ability to adjust to customers’ preferences

· Excellent communication skills

· Excellent time management skills

· High school diploma; relevant training is a plus

· Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds;

· Availability for weekend shifts
