We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. As an ER Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing immediate and specialized care to patients in critical condition. Duties:
- Assess and triage patients upon arrival, prioritizing care based on severity of condition
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results to aid in patient diagnosis
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patients' vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Assist in emergency procedures such as intubation, central line placement, and cardiac catheterization
- Document all patient interactions, interventions, and responses accurately and timely
Skills:
- Experience in pediatric emergency care
- Proficient in acute care and critical care nursing practices
- Strong assessment skills to quickly identify emergent conditions
- Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and interventions
- Familiarity with occupational health practices, including physical examinations and health screenings
- Competence in medication administration, including IV therapy and titration of medications
- Ability to navigate electronic medical record systems effectively
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with healthcare team members
