We are seeking a meticulous and thorough Quality Control Inspector for our Jessup, MD location. Our Quality Control Inspector's primary responsibility is to check the quality of incoming and outgoing materials or products and ensures proper production procedures. This position involves running tests, keeping a record of defects, analyzing products, and overseeing procedures and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to:
  • Generate Non-Conformance reports for all discrepant material.
  • Identify potential issues/problems and recommend corrective action measures.
  • Complete all paperwork and documentation required with order.
  • Verify all traveler signoffs have been completed.
  • Verify all SPC sheets have been completed and signed off.
  • Verify and complete Inspection reports.
  • Verify calibration of all inspection tooling.
  • Meet customer requirements by following work instructions including work orders and specification sheets.
  • Independently operate equipment in an efficient and safe manner while meeting required quality standards.
  • Other essential duties as assigned.

Our successful candidate qualifications:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 3-5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CMM is highly desired.
  • Familiarization with inspection tooling, height gages, calipers, and micrometers.
  • Must have the knowledge and experience necessary for the position.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and procedures and work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be capable of reading drawings and inspecting the work being performed.
