Basic requirements:
Experience joining and parting metals by welding, flame cutting and related processes. Ability to weld a variety of structures, systems, and equipment using accepted methods and a variety of manual welding processes. Knowledge of laying out welding work from specifications and instructions. Ability to set up, adjust, and use welding equipment in the application of various manual, semi-automatic, and automatic welding processes. Able to operate a gas cutting torch to trim parts before welding to ensure proper alignment, remove obstructions, or cut materials as necessary. Experience reading and interpreting instructions, specifications, blue-prints, etc. to perform job duties. Demonstrates ability to weld on various types of metals/alloys and shapes/sizes including piping, pressure vessels, castings, forgings, etc. Demonstrates the ability to pass very high standard radiographic and other NDT examinations to ensure items welded meet operational requirements.
Starting salaries are commensurate with education and experience, plus full benefits. Applicants must be U.S. citizens. All positions are subject to satisfactory completion of a security investigation, successful completion of a pre-employment physical, and/or drug test.
