Atlas is a rapidly expanding company supporting the U.S. Military and other Government entities and we are seeking a talented "Integrated Submarine Imaging System (ISIS) Engineering Technician" to support ongoing submarine fleet modernization efforts. This is a fulltime position working out of Groton, CT.

If you have Integrated Submarine Imaging System AN/BVY-1 (ISIS) experience, are comfortable in intense, fast-paced environments, can think on your feet, and can excel in team-based collaborative efforts, then this may be the right job for you.

The ISIS Engineering Technician will provide onsite installation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of ISIS AN/BVY-1.

Pay Range: $50,419.20 to $76,377.60, depending on experience and credentials.

Travel: up to 10%

You Will:
  • Install, monitor, and service equipment and systems at Company and client sites
  • Perform or coordinate test and evaluation, checkout, and certification tasks of AN/BVY-1 systems
  • Perform validations/verifications of various electronic systems related to the operation of the ISIS System and Photonics Mast Variants (PMV) to include Mast Technical Insertion (MTI) and Low Profile Photonics Mast (LPPM)
  • Develop technical/engineering data for Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS), Technical manuals, troubleshooting procedures, drawing updates, operation procedures, and maintainability improvements
  • Implement Engineering Change Instructions (ECI)
  • Train others in the operation and performance of the AN/BVY-1 system(s)
  • Be the direct on-site customer interface for equipment/system installation, testing, survey, fabrication, and other engineering tasks as needed
  • Ensure compliance with engineering documentation standards, engineering plans, system specifications and test procedures

You Have:
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Possession of and the ability to maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance.
  • Hands-on experience configuring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and creating solutions to problems in operational hardware and software systems
  • Self-motivation, a strong work ethic, and commitment to quality and teamwork
  • A passion for learning
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Ability to travel up to 10%

Education/Experience:
  • Technical (Military/Vocational) school/training beyond high school and at least 5 years of job-related experience
  • Experience in electronics and electrical systems

We Would Be Impressed If You Had:
  • A certificate of completion of the ISIS maintenance course A-102-0388
  • An active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret Security Clearance
