Position Summary:
In this role, the Retail Asset Protection Process & Systems Specialist will support Retail Asset Protection and Retail Operations for EG America, specifically focusing on process and systems that reduce shrink and promote safety. They will support initiatives and problem solving for Retail Asset Protection and Retail Operations. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to: project work, effective communication to teams and other leaders; identifying trends in business and the retail industry; and deploying key Retail Asset Protection training programs. They will work cross-functionally and collaborate on assigned projects. Project management expertise, strong communication skills and cross-functionally partnering with all areas of the company is critical for the success of the RAP Process & Systems Specialist.
Responsibilities:
1. Act as project manager for all construction (NTI, Remodel, Reimage, etc) and other EG America Projects that have CCTV and burglar alarm needs. This includes site surveys, proposal development, vendor management, and seeing project through to completion.
2. Collaborate with the RAP Process & Systems team to design, develop, and deploy training for RAP initiatives. Deliver these trainings to Retail Operations for assigned markets using a top down approach.
3. Identifies and recommends improvements to system processes, procedures and functionality and implements the approved changes
4. Support Retail Operations as product matter expert in all RAP processes & systems. Support Retail Operations leadership for assigned markets (RM & DM) in using these tools efficiently and effectively.
5. Continually research new systems that are coming to market that can assist in EG America reaching shrink objectives. Arrange for test of these systems and report back on impact and ROI for the organization.
6. Create and enhance systems to help improve security methods by proactively keeping up with trends in security
7. Develop new vendor relationships that can assist the organization in cost reduction and equipment down time.
8. Effectively analyze, forecast, and communicate data to be leveraged for further action to mitigate organization risk
9. Provide support and training to RAP Team and other business partners for all systems and processes as needed
10. Performs other job-related duties as assigned
11. Produce documents for teams and leadership to review and utilize. Deliver presentations to teams as needed.

Working Relationships:
Internal: DVPs, Regional Managers, District Managers, Store Managers, Inventory Team Members, I.T. Cash Management, Training, Store Accounting, HR, Marketing, Risk, Corporate Facilities and Planning Departments.
External: Local, State, and Federal Police agencies, Department of Homeland Security, Armored Car vendors, Security system vendors, and Banks
Requirements
Minimum Education: Associate’s Degree in a related field or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in retail/Asset Protection/Inventory/Project Management/Vendor Management
Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field
Minimum Experience: 3-5 years in Retail, Loss Prevention, Inventory Management, Project Management, or IT
Preferred Experience: 5+ years in Retail, Loss Prevention, Inventory Management, Project Management, or IT
Licenses/Certifications: N/A
Soft Skills: Position requires good communication skills (written and verbal), the ability to work cohesively with others in a professional and collaborative manner, and the ability to be self -disciplined in their work day. Ability to exercise good judgment in analyzing complicated information. Requires the ability to remain calm in high stress situations.
Travel: Substantial overnight travel by both car and air (50%).
Hours & Conditions: 40-50 hour work week remote. Occasional Office Work is required
Physical Requirements: Ability to maneuver and regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
