Quality Control Technician | 2nd shift
Are you meticulous, detail-oriented, and passionate about quality? We're looking for a Quality Control Technician to join the team and ensure that only the best parts make it to our customers. If you're ready to dive into a dynamic role where precision is paramount, we want you on our team!
Job Duties:
As our Quality Control Technician, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining our high standards. Your duties will include:
- Visual inspection of processed, machined, and assembled parts to detect defects
- Ensuring all necessary inspection devices, prints, and checklists are available at work centers
- Using precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to verify part specifications
- Collaborating with drawings, blueprints, and part specifications to ensure tolerance compliance
- Setting up jobs and green tagging for production
- Conducting random sampling inspections and documenting results
- Checking incoming materials and maintaining records
- Performing gauge calibration to maintain accuracy
Schedule: 2nd shift | Monday thru Friday 3:00Pm – 1:00AM Saturday 10:00AM – 3:00Pm Training provided on 1st shift for 3-12 months, from 5:00AM – 3:00 PM (Monday – Friday) & 5 AM – 10 AM on Saturdays; transitioning to 2nd shift
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00
Requirements:
- 1 year of previous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing setting, with a preference for experience in a Machine Shop environment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and part specifications
- Proficiency with a variety of inspection tools including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and more
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, ITAR, and F.O.D requirements is preferred but not required
