A bit about us:

Jobot is currently looking for two second shift Electrical Maintenance Technicians! The hours are Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-2:00am.

Why join us?

Candidates work four ten hour shifts. This is a multi-craft position. Candidates will be required to do preventative maintenance on equipment, as well as receive maintenance calls.

This is a union shop.

All candidates must have trouble shooting skills with sensors and PLC input/output cards.

We are seeking two experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our high-performing team in the Engineering industry. This role is critical in maintaining our reputation for delivering exceptional, high-quality products to our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and modification of various types of electrical equipment and control systems. This role provides a unique opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment, including PLC input/output, steel uncoilers, deburr, and spot welders.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on a variety of electrical equipment and control systems to ensure optimal performance.
2. Diagnose and repair issues with PLC input and output systems.
3. Work with a range of machinery including steel uncoilers, deburr, and spot welders.
4. Collaborate with the engineering team to identify and implement improvements to equipment and processes.
5. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed.
6. Comply with all safety procedures and regulations.
7. Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
8. Provide technical support to the production team as needed.
9. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and projects.
10. Respond to emergency breakdowns in a timely and efficient manner.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electrical Maintenance Technician in the Engineering industry.
2. Proven experience in working with PLC input/output, steel uncoilers, deburr, and spot welders.
3. A solid understanding of electrical systems and control circuits.
4. Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematic diagrams.
5. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. A strong commitment to safety and compliance with all applicable regulations
