Associate Vice President, Global Education Office of Global Education Position #986633 Kent Campus, Kent, OH Kent State University invites applications for the position of Associate Vice President for Global Education within the Division of Academic Affairs in Kent, Ohio. Reporting to the Vice President for Global Education, the Associate Vice President for Global Education will provide leadership and direction in the area of global education. The Associate Vice President oversees the management of existing global education abroad and the development of new education opportunities and partnerships abroad. Responsibilities include: the management and operation of existing American Academies and the development of new American Academies; representing the Vice President, Global Education at internal and external meetings and events; coordinating international recruitment efforts, including representative officers and academic centers; representing the university when traveling abroad to meet with various existing partners and when developing new connections. The ideal candidate will have a terminal degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Higher Education, or other relevant field, and at least six years of professional experience in international education or a related field. Must possess a broad institutional perspective, be multilingual, and a proactive style of leadership that encourages teamwork and interaction. This position is also eligible for faculty appointment, subject to normal university policies and procedures regarding the same.
