Helen DeVos Children's Hospital is seeking an additional Pediatric Nephrologist to join alongside our nationally recognized kidney specialists who work diligently to place children's comfort at a top priority and continually seek out the best treatment plans.
Essential Functions
Full time position, on call and inpatient converge every fourth weekend
5-6 half day clinics per week including possible outreach and telemedicine clinics
Work alongside support staff - clinic and dialysis nurses, transplant coordinators, social workers, dietitians, pharmacists, research coordinators
Access to all the testing or procedures necessary including aquapheresis. CRRT, access to plasmaphersis and lipid apheresis
Academic appointment available through Michigan State University
The Children's Hospital
Helen DeVos Childrens Hospital is a 243-bed, free standing tertiary care center located in downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan. It is the only licensed free-standing childrens hospital and Level 1 pediatric trauma center in West Michigan. We care for a diverse patient population in the medical ICU, including kidney transplant, bone marrow transplant, neurosurgical patients, trauma patients, with an active cardiac and non-cardiac ECMO program.

Qualifications
Required Bachelor's Degree
Physician (MD) or (DO) - Michigan Medical License
BE/BC - Pediatric Nephrology
Certification: (BLS) - (ACLS) - (PALS)
